Improved Handling
Does most of the foating feel from the stock car come from rolling from side to side or bouncing up and down? I do not want the car so stiff it rattles you teeth when going over a sharp bump, but I would like to agressively accelerate onto a entry ramp without feeling like the car is out of control. If your only concern was better handling and you could only do one thing would you install the TRD sway bars or the L-tuned springs and shocks or something else.

I would recommend for starter getting L-Tuned Springs/Shocks/ECU and TRD Strut Tower Brace (STB). TRD sway bar will stiffen the ride but greatly reduce the roll. I am happy with my L-Tuned setup.

I have the same setup (LTuned Springs/Shocks + Steering ECU & TRD STB). That's most likely the most conservative handling package but it still offers up much improved handling and road feel. I'm running 18" wheels (8" front and 9.5" rears) w/ Michilen Super Pilot Sport tires. I believe it's the wheel/tire set up that determines a great deal of the 'road harshness'. Low profile tires don't have a whole lot of side wall flex so the energy has to go somewhere.
Bottomline: You have to make some trade offs in these area. If you want a luxury car ride don't change a thing. If you want a performance ride you need to expect some road feedback.
Good luck!
