Most of the time, the mushy brake feel is a result of air in the system. Check that out first before you get anything replaced.

They did FULL SERVICE, my bill says they Flushed out all the fluids & re-filled
This is what i had serviced on my car at 90K. My Head Gasket had a leak, I get it repaired as soon as possible, Changed Timing Belt & Tensioner. Flushed & refill ALL fluids, NEW Brake Pads & Rotors FRNT & REAR. HAD a Emission Tune-up. Had BOTH control arms replaced, Wheel Bearings repaired & Ball joints my total cost was & $7,500.00 estimated .

there may be air in your brake lines. have the shop bleed them again.

I took my car to the shop, to have the mechanic check my brakes. He said it was fine, but when i told him go & test drive it you can tell. So he said it must be air in the system, so he had this machine that took out all the air. Till today there was a slight difference but not that much pressure. Its so scary when i brake, i cant tell if its braking or not.

have them check to see if the caliper's piston(s) or sliding bolt(s) are frozen.

unless you have a brake fluid leak, i'm willing to bet the reason your fluid is not at full (which it should be) is because they didn't completely press the pistons back in place, thus giving you less pedal travel before the piston fully engages.

that and the slide pins would cause this problem.

Bleed the brakes. 90% of the time if you have a soft pedal then the reason is due to air in the lines.

if they dont press the pistons back, they cannot put in new pads.

Stuck slide pins will cause this... but I would check for air in the lines first and do a complete fluid replacement.

good luck

I am willing to bet it's just air in the lines.....and 7500 bucks?! That's highway robbery.
