Reasonably Flush

Slight Stretch

RCAs are a sub-product made by the pirates and ninjas while they were fighting with their swords. Then the dwarf came along, cast a magic spell it fixed camber issue and dropped our car even more. Barney sometimes comes along and paints it purple too.

yep, that's the alcohol talking. time for me to goto sleep.

guys, it all depends on the look you're directing your car towards. there's so many different styles we all choose and take and for a thousand more reasons.

again, to the vet, thats 1 classy looking 2GS that's got the ponies to back it up

I'm biased too, where I dont want a set up that sacrifices handling, traction, performance and IMO looks.

I have plenty of "close" CL friends doin the VIP look, and they look great, so to each his own, but it's not what I'm after.

Being an Engineer it would go against my principle if I didn't set up my car so that form "follows" function.

A little camber is Ok, but at a certain point, it's over the top.

I'd love to have a more agressive wheel set up, but again, I can't do it without some type of compromise.

Thanks, I appreciate your understanding of what I'm trying to accomplish.

Believe me, I like the VIP style, but I can't live with the trade offs. It doesn't suit my drivestyle.

With the power I have, the last thing I need is skinny rear tires. running only on the inside tread of the tire.

Then there's always the concern during high speed cornering, where a stretched tire on too low a tire pressure, could dis-mount off the rim.

That's exactly how I would set up my wheels for big power. Camber and stretched tires don't work when you need traction.

Thanks for re-enforcing my point.

I didn't start this thread, so no one should consider these statements as a flame against set ups that are contrary to what I'm doing.

But it IS a GOOD discussion to EDUCATE people as to what's out there, what choices they have and then let them make a WELL INFORMED decision on how they want their car to look and drive.

OT- Chris you coming up Sunday?
