Default Another LS400 Brake thread

I read something about brake bias when only upgrading the front brakes to LS400.. is this true and how much of a problem would this create?

My brakes are gone and I'm looking to upgrade to some LS400 calipers and bremo blanks.

And I'm pretty sure they'll fit with my supra wheels w/out modification..

i bought it, installed it, and have no complaints.... i think you should get them. i honestly dont think there is much of a brake bias on it.

Is the extra break pedal travel annoying in your opinion? I like the feel
of the stock sensitive feel, but if there is a significant feel in stoppage
overall.. I'm all for it.

the braking power is definitely increased. the brakes dont fade as easily under heavy use as well if you go to the track.

the changed brake bias is not noticeable for street use at all. for most people that dont even know what that is all they know is that the car brakes better.

there is no reason not to do the LS400 brakes. if you want to correct the bias later on you can get the mk4 supra TT rear calipers as well.

i did my ls400 brakes because my stock ones were shot. you will need either ls400 16" wheels or most 17" wheels with higher offsets will clear them. stock supra tt wheels clear the ls400 brakes.

with certain wheel design you can go as low as +25 offset and still clear the calipers without the use of spacers.

Alright sounds good.

And yea the other day I went for a brake check and told me they were pretty bad. Should I go with a used pair or check out some remanufactured ones?
