I have a 2001 GS300 with about 105k miles. I think its time to replace the stuts as I am starting to get a lot of bounce over dips/bumps and front end dive on braking. An Asian auto repair shop quoted me $950 for 4 KYB GR2's with a four wheel alignment.

Do you guys think that is a fair price?

Also on a car with these many miles should I replace the front strut mounts and lower ball joints? The owner thought that was a waste of 250 dollars in parts if there is nothing wrong with them.

Any advise or comments?

try searching the parts you're inquiring about.
kyb's are about $400, install in my area is about $150-$250 w/alignment. check the regional sections of CL to get a fair/market price for what you need done.

You can find those KYBs on ebay for about $280 shipped brand new. Shouldn't cost you more than $500 out the door with alignment though.
