Default 350z/G35 Springs on Sc300

Does anyone know if they'll fit? I have Tokiko (sp?) blues also.

I've never heard of this being done before. Be the first to try it and report back.

Highly doubtful, so why try unless you have money/time to spare.

I'm curious as to why you would even think springs made for a Nissan would be compatible with a Toyota?

It is likely that this could be done; however, it is likely that it is not a bolt on procedure.

If you located some Supra springs cheaply, you could run a comparison of the springs (put a WTB "blown Supra springs for research purposes" on these and the CL forums, and I am sure you could find some cheaply).

On a lot of older Toyota vehicles that lack aftermarket support, it is not uncommon for you to see owners hack up various shock parts to make the springs they have work.

You may have to swap the lower spring seat on the shock body of a G35 to a Supra shock, or you may have to redrill the strut tower to accept the G35 upper shock mount. It is hard to say until you get the springs and shocks in your hands. But, I would assume that it could be done if you were willing to go through a lot of trouble.

Considering the availability and selection of Supra springs, you would have to decide whether or not that would be worth it. Most of the guys that are hacking up their shocks and shock towers to make such modifications work are doing so because their cars lack the support that the SC has in terms suspension.
