Default Rotors on Right????

I know I hate to ask this but is my rotors on right?? There's a thread about this but it don't specify because it depends on the manufacturer this is my rear passenger side. Thanks

It looks right. Our rear rotors are one solid disc anyways. It's not like the front's vented disc where the direction is more critical.

they're right. the slot/line is supposed to scrub the pad from top to bottom.

Thanks guys I post up when its done man I still haven't got all my parts on yet. People is hatin on this car to get done. I have to wait for parts to come in. But other than that I post it as soon when it's ready

I think they are wrong!

I understood that the whole idea of groves is to push air/brake dust out and AWAY from the hub. The way you have it is pushes air/dust TOWARDS the hub where it will gather up and defet the whole purpose of the grooves. My 0.02c

Anybody else disagree I still haven't put on my front rotors cuz ma friend doesn't want to deliver my TT calipers to me.

I'm with gs-ireland but I don't think it makes much of a difference, as I've heard people say positive things from both setups but just going by the design aspects of, the pics above would seem to dissipate more heat going away from the hub.

I have mine on the other way. They have been installed for a year with no problems.

If your rotors are vented it makes a difference which way they are mounted. Here is some info to look at.

The direction of these grooves are different from the previous pic, so I think we can all agree, it all depends on the manufacturer and their design of the disc. They *should* know best.

The direction of the inner vents is what determines how the rotors should be placed.

On a solid non-vented piece, the orientation doesn't really matter.

Oh I got ya I decided to do my fronts tonite after work But yes I followed the vents on the rotors so I got to switch the rears tomorrow and paint the back calipers. Here's sum pics
