For reference...
Stock height... yuck!
Current... only about 2" front and 1.5" rear.
Nothing ridiculous in terms of lowering but it does the job for now, doesn't bounce around like a lot of lowered cars here in Sydney and does the car and wheels more justice (I still wanna replace the wheels though).

buy the wheels first for sure and then work with it from there.
here's my car on 18's with a stock suspension, i plan on putting on Tein CS as soon as the cash flow comes in, but a few things like HID Retrofit are in front of that on the list of to-do's. It really doesn't bother me that much, even though i know a drop would make it look better

Here is my car on 18x8/18x9 +35 w/ 225/40 & 265/35 Tork Imagine on stock suspension. I plan to lower it though, the wheel gap in the front it horrid but the rear isn't so bad.

Check the sig for the setup. Planning on just a mild drop with OEM supra tt springs and some sort of aftermarket shock (leaning towards konis) i need some hubcentric rings for it because my alignment is all out of wack w/o them. Probably sell these some time in the future......

my 93 is sittin on 18x8 225x40x18 up front and 235x40x18 in back. I'm definately going to drop it .8 to 1.0 inches depenging on which suspension I go with.
It doesnt look BAD, in fact a get compliments all the time. I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Coilovers, strut/spring combo or even just mildly lowered springs... anything to bring the car closer to mother nature. I would've gone that route except I got my wheels for sweet f.a.

the sc400's92-96 are lower than the sc300 92-96.
The 97+ sc300's and 400's are lower as well.
If you have 92-96 sc300 and want 18's w/ stock suspension, ur car will look goofy.
18's on 92-96 sc400's as well as all 97+ SC's will look decent, but w/ a drop it'll look LOTS better.

The SC always looks better with a drop. 18's look great on the car with a drop. If you can't drop it right away, do it when you can. It will always look better with a nice set of wheels vs the stock wheels whether you drop your car or not. Remember a few things:
Ryan
- The lower you drop it, the more the ride will suffer
- The lower you drop it the more tire wear you will face from negative camber
- Depending upon wheel offset and tire size, you may experience rubbing
- the larger the wheel, the more the ride suffers
