DIY Daizen Steering Rack Bushing

finally got the drivers side done...those bushings are a pain in the ***.. for anyone looking to get them out easier i figured out how to with this:

its a tool used for removing broken sprinklers and whatnot.... hopefully you have one and can use it instead of a screwdriver because it works pretty much instantly.

yes i did... they didnt fit, so i bought a spare steering rack and sent it to him for him to prototype on, i have seen some pics on FB from February

Just installed mine last night. Took about 30 mins. Pretty easy install. Getting the 2 smaller bushings out can be a bit difficult. They definitely make a difference.. my car feels so much firmer on the highway and it turns nicer now. Definitely worth the $50 i paid for these.

too soft?? Compared to the Daizen, perhaps they are softer, but these are plenty stiff compared to OEM and just fine for a street car.

Don't bother installing them. They are no stiffer than stock rubber bushes in good condition. You still get about 3 to 4mm rack movement with these bushes.If you can't get Daizen bushes then I would use the blue ones off ebay. Atleast they use good quality Poly.
