I have my ECU install.. with the instruction ... fairly easy... It took approx 40 minutes... However, like you said.. I could not find the link any more.. if you want.. I could fax the instruction that I pull off from the ECU 101..

thank you, shinchan
Would love a copy of the directions, if you can e-mail them to Paulzjoh@mtnhome.com
If you only have fax send them to 870-449-5415, and send when you hear the prompt on the message machine.
thanks again!!

Hey, Sahsa thanks man. Nice to know bit and I will have an idea what we're doing today. I figured when he offered to help he knew what he was doing.
Now he's looking for the instructions!!!! I feel really secure having him pull apart my dash.
j/k

steering ECU
following instructions (thanks again,Shinchan)
I took out 5 bolts, and had one left over. Yes, I looked all over and could not figure out where the extra one belonged. No rattles after test drive, so what can I say.
Removing ECU, don't see how anyone could do it with a deep socet, I used a 12" extention to get it out, really high up on left hand side. For sure, you need a flashlight to see bolt holes and do not know how I could have ever found it with out a copy of instructions and photos.
Effect: I have a '99 Gs4, I've driven 2 days on the full L-Tuned pkg, springs, shocks and F&R sways. The hard parts made a great difference in the handling, just firm enough for increased cornering and not so hard as to upset the wife.
The L-tuned ECU has the same Denso part number moulded into it as the OE part that I removed. So I have to rely on L-Tuned honesty to make sure I got an "improved" part.
With that, I think there is a very slight increase in steering response, but after driving with just the hard parts for two days, can not really recommend this part. For $125.00 can not say the marginal improvement is worth the cost. Steering does not seem any quicker, seems to be a slight increase in stability as you don't seem to be making as many minor corrections while driving, either on straight or in curves.
