Hey guys. I was reaching underneath the dash to pull the release for my trunk, and I reached too low and started feeling around by where the parking brake release is located. Anyway, long story short, I found a semi-circular piece of black felt sitting loose under the release lever, and it pulled right out. It's about 5 inches in diameter. Does anyone know what this is? Can someone take a look at their parking brake release and let me know if there's any felt attached there? Strange.
