Has anyone tried the TOM's rear suspension brace? If so, is there a noticeable improvement? Would it tighten up the back better than the rear strut tower brace?

I have one on order right now. I should be getting it in about 4 weeks. I ordered it from Steve Ganz. If you look really closely there is an additional 6 link suspension but that costs extra. I am thinking about autocrossing so I may get the additional links. I'll post up how it feels.

HI98GS

I see that you have the TRD LSD. How do you like it? Where do you notice the most difference? You have an impressive list of mods, only thing missing is a TC?

GSman,
I unfortunately still am waiting to have the LSD put into the car. Right now it is sitting pretty in the box. As for the TC. I drove a friends GS4 and he purchased the TC. I didn't really appreciate the way it felt for daily driving. It is awesome if you have a lead foot and want to get going quickly, but if you just accelerate normally, there is so much slippage that I was kinda irritated by it. Also when driving at 55 mph, I didn't like tapping a little on the gas and noticing the rpm increasing but not much acceleration. Just my opinion. If you really wanna get a solid opinion on the LSD, ask QBranchcars (Calvin) He autocrosses his GS. I am gonna start autocrossing when I get the LSD placed (hopefully in 2-3 weeks). Talk to you later

aloha

Thanks for the feedback. Excuse my ignorance..but what is autocrossing and how would an LSD come into play?

GSman,
Autocrossing is roadracing. It is usually set up so that you test the limits of the car's ability to handle. Unlike the kinda racing you see where there are high speed straight-a-ways, this usually is very technical and will challenge the car and driver. Some people join clubs like SCCA.

have a good day
