18" tire help
Hey whats up,
I just bought 18" by 7.5" rims and now Im looking for tires.
Just wondering if 245/45/18 is a good choice?
I know 245/40s are recommended but im getting good deal on these 45s
??

I know someone with stock 17X7.5 GS rims running 255/40 rears and 245/45 fronts with no problems - gives it sort of a staggered look - fills the rear better - should work with the 18" fine

tire size -- diameter -- speedometer-- tire revolutionsper mile -- % different from stock17"
235/45-17 -- 25.3 -- 60mph-- 10000--
245/40-18 -- 5.7 -- 59mph -- 9848 -- 1.5%
245/45-18 -- 5.7 -- 57mph -- 9492 -- 5.3%
