Default 255/40/18 Tire on 8inch rims?

Anyone know if this will fit?

Looking to upgrade my rims the ones I like don't come in staggered sizes.

Thanks

Are you talking about putting that size of tire on the front stock wheels? Though that tire would easily fit on the wheel, you'll run into issues with the tire rubbing on the wheel liner AND possibly other parts of the car(fender/bumper/etc).

I'm talking about just putting the tires on the rear as the fronts would remain 225/40/18 as they are now.

I've seen it done and it should work no problem. A guy I know put 225/40/18 up front and 255/40/18 on rear and his rims were 8inch all around.

It was on a 2007 IS250 RWD, I don't think there is a difference.

It will fit fine with proper offset wheels.
