welcome to CL!! If you havent already, you should hook up with the local CL chapter over there...they have some cool members with some sick rides!

As for the l-tuned's being discountinued, I thing everything l-tuned related (from the aero-kits to the springs) have been discountinued all together. Well, I know for sure the areo kits have been.

But check the classified section, alot of people are selling suspenisons, from coilovers to lowering springs. You might find some good deals...

Default KYB GR-2 shocks = l-tuned

l-tuned shocks are merely rebadged KYB shocks. I think the closest approximation to them are the KYB GR-2 shocks which are readily available online.

I have them on my car but then European and Asian GS300/430's already come with these stock.

here's the parts catalogue :

No disrespect, but is it an official information that L-tuned shocks are actually KYB rebarged? I'm looking to lower my car by using Ltuned s/s as well . The timing is a little off...
Thanks.

Yes, I think it is generally accepted that the L-tuned shocks were KYB and the springs were made by Eibach. If you can't find L-tuned anymore there should be other acceptable replacements. The Daizen springs provide about 1.5 inches of drop, just slightly more than the L-tuned/Eibachs. The marketing of the L-tuned concept did not work out well for Lexus/Toyota. It appears they have decided to leave all performance/racing upgrades in the hands of the TRD people.

Default shocks eh?

Thanks for the info guys..........I guess I'll be looking at KYB then!
Just one more quick question....are KYB and Bilstein shocks shorter? Is that why they can handle the drop better?

Mahalos to you all!
