My father actually did it. I am in the cayman islands. He is in FL. He said he got off the whole caliper. Everything but the rotor? Does that help?

So as long as the caliper bracket is off the rotor just comes off? There is nothing holding the rotor onto anytrhing? THis is a 2000 lexus.. If it is still on it might be coroded on? Just rubber mallet it off?

The rotors aren't held on w/ bolts. They are simply held in place by the wheel. Sometimes they get 'rusted on' so take a mallet or soft hammer and tap them from the back side to break them free. If that doesn't work there are a couple of threaded holes (don't recall the size) in the rotor that you simply put in bolts and turn them clockwise (tighten) until the rotor breaks free.

Hope this helps!

Yes rubber mallet and liquid wrench... That seemed to work very well. Good luck

To remove stock rotors that are stuck, use the two holes in the rotor.

You need two 7mm bolts with 1.0 pitch threads.
