Help please odd brake noise...
Mods can you please leave this up for a little while I posted in Maintance but no action in 2 days.
I had my rear brake pads changed once the Pads were changed. A funny noise started coming from them over speed bumps I noticed the noise only came from them when I pushed the brake pedal down once the pad made contact with the rotor no more noise. The only other time you hear noise coming from the rear brake is when the car is in Idol it very slight. The main thing that annoys me is when I push the brake pedal down its a real speaky sound.
I talked to the shop that did my brakes they said it might be the pads let them settle its been over 3 weeks now.
Does anyone have any idea's?

I know for a fact that they didnt glue that plate in they just stuck it in there. If I take it to a diffrent brake shop would they know about glueing it back in place?

oh that's the locking clips for the pads. if that's loose then you have big time problems, the pads can come flying out. it has to be fully locked and nothing can move at all
about the metal plate, i don't know if that's real "glue" or what, but it's something that makes the plate get tight with the pads, that's all i know
