This would require a custom bracket and probably what jtanoyo1's set up does.
There's another way, but I'm not telling either !

OK just saw that jtanoyo1 was talking 430, I was talking about rotating the 400 brakes in order to clear the steering. Actually in both cases, we're talking a custom bracket that needs to offset the calipers from the stock hole spacing to a new location.

Yes, these DSR brackets would make the LS430 calipers a plug&play affair.
Nickel-cadmium alloy, the same material used in race cars.

It's not fair you have access to all those goodies, Jtanoyo...unless of course you are willing to place some orders for your less fortunate brothers .
I am curious to know if the LS brakes offer more stopping power than those from a Twin Turbo Supra. I currently have the TT Supra brakes on my car but if the LS brakes are better, I would switch to them in a heartbeat (no matter how much cutting I would have to do IF Jtanoyo won't get me the brackets...LOL). Also, when it comes to caliper clearance for the wheels, are the LS brakes as much an issue as the supra brakes or would just about any 18 or 19x8.5 fit over them? My choice in rims is currently severely limited because of the supra brakes. Love the stopping power, hate the clearance issues.

somehow i interpreted it as alredxiii was saying the ls400 claiper is smaller than the supra tt, that's why i asked why
sorry about that

The LS rotor is only slightly smaller than the TT.
I did do a comparison of the TT vs the LS , but I don't have all my notes with me right now.
Rougly what I know:
1. Rotor diameter on LS slightly smaller. Probably insignificant performance wise.
2. Both are 4 piston, but need to verify if the diameters are the same.
3. Pads are different shape and one may have more surface area than another = higher coeffcient of friction.
4. The LS has slightly more wheel clearance than the TT, but again I don't know by how much, just that it's better.
5. The biggest difference is that the TT calipers are steel and the LS are aluminum. The difference in weight was roughly 5 to 7 lbs. each.
So that's a general comparison. I plan to publish a bunch of brake comparisons in the future, so you'll have to wait a bit to see more detail than what I have here.

LS400 brakes do fit on 2 Gen GS with a lil custom made "Thingy"
Who would be interested in having LS400 brakes on their GS? The whole kit would be somewhat cheaper than Supra TT brakes. After all, that's why most of the SC's out there run the LS400 brakes, because they're cheaper than TT and they work almost as well.

The Supra brake pads are slightly bigger than the LS400 or LS430 calipers, but this does not mean that the braking power of the LS is less than the Supra (or more ...).
In fact the GS pads are even longer.
Other factors, like rotor size and piston area are also important....
LS400 115.7 x 74.6 x 16.5mm
LS430 118.4 x 77.7 x 16.0mm
Supra TT 119.2 x 80.3 x 16.5mm
GS 144.0 x 63.8 x 16.5mm

Each factor: rotor dia., piston dia., pad area, piston count, pad material, rotor design all factor in to braking performance.
My thoughts are that more brake pad surface area in contact with the rotor = more contact patch = better performance.
The GS may have a larger pad, which is offset by smaller rotor, 2 piston , etc.
Nice pics of the pad design.
