Default shock/spring installation price

What will be a reasonable price for installing shocks/springs from a reputable shops (not dealers)?
I was quoted $220 and $350 from two different places.

Here in Tampa the cheapest quote I got was $460.00

I paid a buddy $200.00 to help me and we ended up breaking the ABS speed sensors (according to Lexus) so that was another $320.00 to Carson for replacements and I am putting them in tomorrow.

Lexus dealer wanted $760.00 to install. They probably would not have broken the sensors but I still save money even with the mistake.

hate to be the bearer of bad news but you still will have to bring to the dealer to clear the abs vsc codes to get the lights off

Actually according to another thread you can do this DIY with the use of a jumper.

See thread...

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...+vsc+lights+on

Go to the DLC1 connector under the hood (that's the connector with "DIAGNOSTIC" marked on top next to one of the Fuse/Relay box.
1- Connect (jump) the terminals marked "Tc" and "E1" (diagram is under cap)
2-Remove the SHORT PIN in the DIAGNOSIC connector
3-Turn ignition ON
4- Pump the BRAKE pedal 8 times within 5 seconds... this will clear the DTC code stored in the ECM
5-Remove the "Jump " wire used and reconnect the Short Pin.
