Need to find a good window tint shop in the north Dallas area. My back window is bubbling and the tint needs to be replaced. Most tint shops I know of tell me the rear defroster will probably be trashed. I'd rather that not happen, and I understand it is possible to retint without losing the defroster. If you got any recommendations, let me know. Thanks.

glacier. they are on lemmon and inwood. they use lummar tint. dont know about price because i pay dealer prices. 125 for the whole car. but it will probley be more then that. unless i call them for you.

Wow, 125 for the whole car is one hell of a deal. Does that include taking off th old tint too? or just putting in the new tint?

i have not asked about removing the old tint. i dont think it will add that much if so. but yes 125 is my price because of my job. lummar tint is very good tint also.

Thats an excellent price. I figured $100 just to retint the back. If you have their number handy PM it to me if you don't mind. I'd like to talk to them and see if they think they can do the job. I live NE of the metro area and I don't have a Dallas phone book. Thanks.

I recommend ProTint in north Dallas on the west side of Preston Rd. just north of Campbell. They are in the same strip shopping center as Sharky's pool hall, although I haven't been there in a few years so some of the stores may have changed. They tinted a few of my cars over the years and did quality work with quality tint. No fading, bubbling, etc. I did a quick Google search and came up with their contact info: Pro Tint 17423 Preston Rd, Dallas, TX 75252-5729 972-713-6861.

kinda late but Sunray's custom tint off of Denton Hwy in Ft worth does EXcellent show quality tint, i have sent ver 20 cars to him including 6 of ours in the last year...

I also used Protint on Preston. They have tinted about 10 of my cars including my GS430 with zero problems and great service. Claudio is the owner and he is a great guy to do business with. They are just north of the State Farm corporate offices.
