DFW Meet Date, HUGE SUCCESS! PIX ON PAGE 7!!
ATTENTION ALL MEMBERS (YES, ALL ARE WELCOME)
There is a Clublexus Meet scheduled for Saturday, December 18th. discuss a start time amongst yourselves, somewhere around noon would be good though. Meet Details:
Where: River Legacy WEST Park, on the corner of Greenoaks Blvd and Cooper st, North of I-30 in Arlington.
When: Saturday Decmber 18th, 2004. (this may be tentative, we will know by the 5th of december)
Time: 12 noon (tentative) i will edit start time accordingly, as people post their opinions on the start time. as of right now it is 12 noon. that can change if its noot a good time, so its not set in stone.

EDIT: turns out that its not a good day for me, but i can stil make it, i have to drop a friend off at DFW around 430pm, so i will have to come out there for a few hours, then go drop him off, then come back.
EDIT#2: IT IS OFFICIAL, THE MEET DATE IS SATURDAY, DECEMBER 18TH . THE START TIME IS NOON!
Directions:
Take I-30 to cooper St.
Head N on cooper St.
Turn L on Greenoaks Blvd
you will see the park entrance. It looks like this:
Enter the park. It will be a right turn if you are coming from my directions.
Here is the park:
Once inside the park, take the first left. the very first parking area you come to is the meet. you will see my car there.

Well guys, the wife has made it official that we're leaving for Cali. on our annual vacation trip on that very Saturday, the 18th of December. That means that I won't be able to make the meet, but I'll still be there to meet up with ArmyofOne before the meet to check out the park.

cool! friends are welcome!
i will have a friend form anchorage there with em for a few hours, from about noon till 230 or so, then i have to run him to the airport and come back...

It seems that DFW has the worst show up rate for the Lexus community when it comes to meets and things like that. Just look around and you'll see what I'm talking about. Peeps from other far away places seems to gather alot better than DFW. And to think, we're a pretty big city and no one seems to want to meet other peeps that have the same passion about their cars. I envy the east and west coast guys because they can get together on a drop of a hat. When I went to the SRT BBQ in Baltimore, Maryland, they had the whole parking lot full of Lexus/Toyota cars. It was cool as heck to see all those cars in one place and meet others with the same passion as yours. But that's just my take on this.

your take is the same as mine, thats the main reason why i join these groups, to make friends who have the same interests as me, and look...now i have a few connections in the business as well.
well even if we only have 4, it can be a mini meet! lol.
im bringing a friend from anchorage like i said, and one of my friends from Mckinney with an SVT contour and an SVT focus mayshow up...not sure which car he will bring.

that could work. i have gotton word down the chain that my ADR may be pushed back to june...i have no idea why, but thatwoudl be neat, we could od a monthly or semi monthly meet.
