Don't quite understand what you're talking about.... where don't you see the smileys? I seem them right now when posting to the right of my entry page, plus will add some here

Your message interface appears to have the standard option... don't' know.
Let's start with the easiest thing... log off of CL, close any CL browser winds and whack your IE cookies. Then come back in.
