5 Reasons Why the Lexus Sriracha IS is Amazing

I think this is a complete embarrassment to Lexus. There is no style or engineering to it - nothing but a cheesy brand tie in. Please Lexus, don't do something this lame again!

I also think it's weak sauce (boom!) but in terms of a marketing campaign to get people talking about Lexus and a Lexus model I think it's clearly a triple home run.

Sriracha isn't even good. Or spicy. It's just extra salty liquidy ketchup with a hint of "hot" pepper flavor. It's actually quite repulsing. And I'm a hot sauce fan.
Additionally, this association gets people talking--yes. But not in a good way. For me, personally, it makes me want to disassociate myself from the Lexus brand. I want to try Audi

Agree that this is tacky and makes Lexus look like a cheapo sellout brand. Definitely a good marketing strategy because it gives it alot of publicity and people to talk about Lexus.
Although, I can't believe E46CT said sriracha is nasty. I do love sriracha on everything but to be exact it has to be from Huy Fong not that knockoff sriracha everyone else started making.

I think it's pretty obvious that it's not a real car that will be offered but is a great marketing stunt. I don't like Sriracha but plenty do, and it grabs peoples attention. Even funnier to see all the Lexus owners on FB believe it's real and threaten to leave the brand.
