Default Gear shifter plate cover loose

Anyone know a quick fix to get this gear shift plate cover back into place?

I would imagine it would require opening that up to put back in place. It's a simple procedure that should be found in the sticky.

Yeah, I agree. You have to pop out the side panels on the central console/transmission tunnel to gain access to the stuff underneath. I haven't removed those panels myself, but I have seen plenty of videos where those things were pried off. They are held to the console by clips at several points. This video might help. Good luck!

It's easy. I've done it 3 times and never had an issue. Just try not to lose any of the little clips attached to the console.
