I'm getting settled in with my new (used) GS. I've obtained the factory XM receiver and the install (wiring) kit. I can't figure out where the receiver box mounts in the trunk. (Everything is hooked up and working now, I just need to mount the receiver and button everything up.



Can someone help guide me to where the receiver is supposed to mount to?
(Unfortunately I didn't receive install instructions with my install kit. And, all the links I can find on the older threads for the install instructions no longer work.)

As you are facing the back of the car, it is to the right. You can see one of the standoffs in your picture. (I think)

The bracket holes don't seem to match up to any tapped holes underneath the rear deck.
I assume it mounts underneath the rear deck, on the right-hand side of the subwoofer (shown)? With the felt side down and the wires coming out the right-hand side of the receiver.
Anyone have a picture or a working link to the instructions?

I did get mine installed and it works great. I'd recommend using all factory components like I did.
There are essentially 3 different groups of parts: the receiver/tuner box, the wiring kit, and the install/bracket kit.
I researched the part numbers of the different kits online based on my vehicle- 2007, with Mark Levinson and shark fin antenna.
The wiring kit allows all the connections between the receiver and the car to be plug and play and are done in the right rear fender well.
If I remember correctly, I found the receiver on eBay, and I was able to purchase the wiring kit and bracket kit new from an online Lexus parts store.

i have the tuner and the wires what did you do to get it all connected. did you have to run a wire towards the front of the car behind the radio unit?
