I just noticed you carry painted bumper plugs for Lexus. Cool!

It says redouts can be custom made for other applications. Can you make them for the 2GS?

Do you need to do any drilling for your bumper plugs?

You guys now have a console guard for the IS250. It says it can be easily installed by ourselves but how is it installed? The same way you installed the red-outs, just soap and water? Thanks.

Also, anybody want to split it with me? Either the console guard or the headlamp overlays or both?

You actually need bumper plugs because there are drilling holes in your bumper. People who do not have a front license plate don't need bumper plugs.

I don't think that is what he meant. I think he means if you need to drill the hole any bigger. When I bought my bumper plugs from bumperplugs.com I had to drill the dealer drilled holes wider in order for them to fit.

Most dealers drill the holes to the correct size for the bumper plugs, however there are a few out there that drill smaller holes. A good way to test this is to insert a 1/4 inch screwdriver into your holes. If it fits, this would be the correct size. If the screwdriver is to large, then you may have to drill the hole out to 1/4 inch. Also, it is important to be sure that the hole is clean. Inserting the screwdriver into the hole and turning a couple times should remove most loose debris from the inside. If you have excess on the outside of your holes you may need to carefully trim them with an exacto knife or razor blade so that the Bumper Plugs sit flush in the holes.

Hope this helps.

The console guard is applied in a simmilar fashion. Only a little soap/water solution is used, and we include detailed instructions with pictures and a squeegee applicator.

Another great feature of our console guards is that they will help hide existing scratches.
