I agree, while the GT-R performance from what we can see is staggering, the LF-A is not its competition.....

I would say the F430 is, this car is aimed at Ferrari from day one...its small yall, tidier than a 911...The GT-R in comparison is much larger and seats 4.

Yes the LF-A is more of a pure sports car than the GT-R. Even so.. it remains to be seen with the higher price tag, lighter weight, exotic materials etc.. if it can beat the GT-R's times. It's going to be tough that's for sure! the GT-R is a track monster!!!

WOW it beat Zonda F and Carrera GT times.

I guess Deutschland and Italia should be very scared now.

One thing it be a miracle if this car stars at a little over $100k or $115k.

Seeing the F430 starts at $173k and the Porsche 997 Turbo is starting at $122k.

It would be the cheapest supercar on the market, one of the nicest and luxurious ones.

14 is very significant on the 'Ring.

To give you some idea of times on the 'Ring.

But that's if that rumor is true.

agreed this is major if true. this would make the lf-a the fastest street car around the ring, by a significant margin.

BTW, on the same page the magazine also reports that the next NSX is going to be powered by a 580hp 4.5L V10. It's gonna be interesting to say the least.

Considering the supposed 5.0L V10 from the LF-A produces somewhere of 500hp the Honda engine is definitely impressive if rumors are correct. I'm sure Honda will use a very high reving engine like they're used to.
