Default 13.68 @ 100mph if anybody cares

ran last Friday at Firebird raceway. tcs off, vdim on, power mode, just put her in D and pushed the go pedal. 2.1 60' was good for an auto I guess. I didn't expect to break 14s so I didn't have my helmet with me so I could only do that one run. I think that she has a 13.5 in her and I am thinking about hooking up my s-afc to lean her out a bit. I don't know how much hp I can pick up, but with that, intake, header and exhaust it should be a 12 second car.

I posted this in my.is too, but there doesn't seem to be a whole lot going on over there. I would like to get some feedback from other 350 owners who have taken them to the strip.

I believe most reviews have rated the car as between 13.6 and 13.9. I only recall seeing one review that marked it as 14+.

Thats really good. The second person on here to run under 14sec. I think the first I saw was 13.9.

It was a clear night in the Arizona desert so very low humidity and it was probably about 50 degrees.

I didn't think that it would be that easy to break 13s either, thus me not thinking to bring my helmet. The best I could muster with my s2k was a 15.0 at 97 and my Evo was around 13.6 at 101 when it was stock.

I know what has been published, but it is usually pretty difficult to match the numbers that those guys attain. Whether it's because of the professional drivers or the optimal conditions it is rare to equal or best one of their test results. I like the car a little more now knowing that I can run with a stock Evo and I can beat a stock Sti on that track.

VERY IMPRESSIVE!!! It makes me think that with some paddle shifting and maybe holding the break when you launch you could muster a 13.4-13.5. I'm very impressed with that

Maybe. After messing around with the paddles and the manual shifter on the street it doesn't seem to shift any quicker than just doing the auto with the power button on which is kind of disappointing. I think that the only advantage paddle shifting would give you is if you needed to shift before redline because you were running out up top, but from the looks of my dyno curve that isn't the case.

I also don't know if I can get a quicker 60' even if I pre-load. I might try a 3,000 rpm neutral drop. jkjk. I wish I would have thought to bring my helmet, because it is about a month and a half until the track reopens.

That is a sensational time!! Another idea is to swap out your tires to semi-slicks, they are road legal but with very low tread, that should help knock a tenth or two off. That is a Great time on street tires!

When I switch to power and go into sport mode, it does feel like it is shifting harder, that might help to bring it down a tenth or two.

Got it at Superstition Springs. I think that typically you can't really go wrong at any Lexus dealer. I am kind of peaved that it is taking them almost a month to get me in for my tints and they delivered my new car with only a quarter tank of gas though.

I went and looked at a used RX8 at Scottsdale and the guys were cool. You should hit me up when you get your car if you want to go to Speedworld. My buddy Mike got his wife an IS a couple of weeks ago and we are probably gonna run 'em after I get back from Christmas vacation.

Traction wasn't really a problem, but the slicks might help a little. Now you guys got me wanting to go run some more and try a couple things.
