Default Thundercloud Grill

Several members have commented about the Thundercloud Grill, Questions:
1. Can we order one and replace the existing grill in the '05 RX 330.
2. Will it fit?
3. Cost?
My wife thinks that her Silver 330 with the Thundercloud Grill would be perfect. She waited on the Thundercloud to come in but opt for the 'regular' 330 due to rims and interior.

I just got back from the dealer and inquired about the grille, which wasn't in the parts system yet. I'm planning on changing out my grille also. The stock grille listed for around $240 and some change. I'm like 99.9% sure the grille will fit, being that the hood/headlights were not redesigned for '05.

yeah i like the grill alot! i have silver as well, and i think the TC grill would make it look even better.

$240 is not bad - are you planning on installing yourself? how hard/easy is that?

Would this effect the warranty at all or would it be ok? A friend of mine just bought an RX330 and i wanted to get him one, but since its brand new and all, i just wanted to check if it was ok.

Thank you so much for that close-up pic!?! I was waiting for the car to come in so I could see it in person, but I'm totally sold.

I plan on doing it myself. My friend is the parts manager at the dealership, and I was looking at the computer; it shows the grille & like 5-6 screws that come w/ the order.

I don't mind asking him, but I wouldn't know the first thing on how to start a group buy. (money collection, etc.)

Default Great Ideas

I like that grill way better as well, someone who is in the know needs to set up the group buy thing. ALSO very interested to know if it is difficult to change out by myself - not exactly a car mechanic here!

Could somebody here Please photoshop the TC grille on to the 400h, I think the horizontal lines would work well with it, thank you.

I also am planning to buy the Thundercloud grill. but for now I did the DIY Chrome grill. basically i stripped the greyish coat of paint and underneath was a chrome grill.

can someone chime in on the removal and install of the grille?

i would love to order, but only if i can install myself . . . i'm not mechically-minded, but i can take things apart and put them back together pretty easily if it's just a bunch of screws or bolts.
