Default 2007 ES350 Leather Seat Repair

I was quoted $380 and $475 to repair/replace the bottom seat. I think this is to expensive. I've tried a cover from Ebay before and it wasn't an exact fit which ended up costing me more money to get modified. (driver seat)

Is there repair kit to fix this thing? I know about the patches but it's not visually appealing at all.

I purchased the complete front seat upholstery set and installed them myself. It wasn't the easiest job in the world but I was very happy with the results.

$475 is a great price, upholstery work is physically demanding and time consuming. The above is fine if you don't need an exact OEM look.

It is definitely a difficult task. I think that this set turned out with about as close to OEM look as I could have expected.

I bought one of these sets for the driver side- it was not an exact fit. The back went on fine but the bottom part was to big and needed to be modified by the upholstery shop. I ended up paying an additional $95 for them to cut it to size.

I clicked your link and here was one of the reviews:

Quality of the leather and appearance were great. However, this wasn't OEM as there was a missing plastic piece and a sleeve for the metal rod on the original that weren't on this item. I ended up having to cut pieces off from this replacement to make it work. I contacted them afterwards but haven't heard back. Overall, worth the price.

This is why I'm avoiding it all together and allowing them to supply the parts. I'm being told to this myself but from what I've seen on Youtube, I don't feel like dealing with it. I'll let the pros handle it and get it done in 4/5 hours.

I found another shop that will do it for $380 so I made an appointment for next week. The $475 shop said they would refurbish the seat to make everything match and look "new". Not sure of the $380 shop will do the same. I will ask when I drop off.
