Lexus Towing Package wiring harness part number
I have a 2019 RX-350 Base. It did not come with a factory towing package. I've added a 3 party receiver hitch - primarily for a bike rack. I am considering adding the wiring needed for trailer lights in case I may want to tow a very light/small trailer in the future. Does anyone have any information about the OEM wiring harness that was included as part of the factory towing package?
Or just look at https://www.etrailer.com/
You may find it easier to work with an aftermarket solution.

I had an online "Chat" with someone from eTrailers. She told me that not all RX-350 have pre-wiring for trailer lights. My RX does not have the towing package but I would have thought that Lexus would not create two different wiring harnesses - one for cars that will not ship with the towing package and a second harness for cars that will ship with a towing package. To me this is not logical as it would cut flexibility during the manufacturing process. I tried to explain that people on this forum have done what I am trying to do - at least I think it has been done.
So I'm trying to determine if the person at eTrailers is correct or not. I quickly slid under my car and I did not find a connector that looked like it was trailer light pre-wiring. Maybe I didn't look in the correct place. I like the eTrailer solution but until I resolve this question I'm, obviously, not going to order anything.
Thanks for all the rapid feedback. Much appreciated.

I found in my owners manual that, for cars without the towing package, Lexus does not recommend the installation and/or use of a receiver hitch. This even applies to a hitch used for a scooter, wheel chair or bicycle rack. Hmmm? I wonder if a top mounted ski rack is okay? Or a bike rack on the top. Or a car top tent. Or how about putting 10 50 lbs. bags of potting soil in the back? If it is a load/weight/cooling issue having the weight in the back of the car versus attached to a trailer hitch is the same. In fact if the tongue weight is properly set, the amount of extra weight on the rear axle would be much less than the extra weight pm the rear axle from say ten bags of of cement I'd buy from Home Depot (assuming a reasonably sized trailer). An issue braking with the extra weight would be the same. An argument could be made, perhaps, with suspension issues and the tendency of towing a trailer to cause swaying.
