Default Head lights re-surfaced

The weather is good, so I spent some times to clear up the head lights of wify's van. My GS head lights are still in good shape, so no work needed there.

It only took me an hour to finish it. Let me know how do you like it.

Good work Jacob The headlights look much better and cleaner than before.

I see that you taped up outside of the headlights. Did you use a small orbital sander, or 2000 grit paper by hand?

Jacob, what'd you use? I just used some Meguiar's DACP on my PC since the oxidation wasn't too bad. I've used 1000/2000 grit sandpaper followed up with 3m Rubbing Compound in some extreme cases before though. Meguiar's PlastX works well too, but involves too much elbow grease for me

I wet sanded them by hand started with 400 grit and 1000 then 3000. After sanding, I painted them with a thin layer of polyurathane for protection.

Nice job.

Wow 400 Grit. That is rough but I guess it depends how bad and how much you need to take off. I usually just use 1500 and then 3M Microfinishing Compound. I have not had to do this since XPel however.
