18" wheels compatibility
My 2010 RX450h is equipped with 19" rims, 235/55 tyres. I would like to get a second set of 18" rims with the more comfortable 235 /60 tyres.
Now, I have found at a good price an used 18" rims set, which was previously installed on a RX400h; so, the question is: are these rims installable on my car, i.e. are RX400h and RX450h offset, PCD and center bore of the rims the same?

So long as you have the specs from above website, you can find out the actual fitment inside the wheel well by using this website.

Even if the specs between the two don't precisely match, I virtually guarantee they'll still fit. There's plenty of wiggle room in parameters like width and offset. The centre bore will be the same as Lexus likes to be consistent with that.
Buy them.
Buy them.

Thanks a lot for the link, that website is plenty of useful information. BTW when I contacted the seller today the rims were just sold, . I will continue my search..

Are you looking specifically to improve comfort, or a dedicated season set?
The reason I ask, I run 18" rims with winter tires and 19" with all-seasons.
The difference is not that significant and I find both to be plenty comfortable.
The biggest change, if anything, was upgrading to 19" Michelin Premier LTX tires.

I have found on eBay an OEM set originally installed on a Lexus NX300h, apparently in mint condition, then I have decided to buy them, although expensive (600 bucks) because the physical characteristics (ET and width) are 100% the same of the ones installed on myRX450h, no chance of interferences. All done.
Here a couple of shots of my RX fiited with new 18" rims and low rolling resistance Continental e.contact tyres.
I have covered so far around 250 km, and I am averaging 30 mpg towards the previous 28 mpg, the tyres are exceptionally silent, and the ride is improved in respect to 19", so I am quite happy so far.
