A lot of districts have policies dictating who may ride the bus, usually excluding children who live within a couple of miles. Sure, they could maybe walk that, but a lot of parents aren't comfortable with their children walking to school in some areas in today's world. Can't say as I blame them.

Good point. And, let's face it....back when you and I first got our licenses (I got mine some 45 years ago.....I suspect you're somewhat younger), what's the very first thing we wanted to do with it? Drive to and from school, of course, preferably with our friends. By that time, most of us were sick and tired of riding the bus each day.

I never rode the bus a single day after I got my license. That was only 8 years ago for me.

I had actually stopped riding the bus a couple years earlier due to my dad taking a job at the school, so I always had a ride.

He was a good sport about it as he had kids too.

She might have meant well, but it still is a violation. The ticket was justified.

If she meant well she would have sat behind the bus like the rest of us. No, she's a self-entitled idiot making up excuses after the fact.

You mean stopped in front of the bus? I agree. She couldn't have stopped behind it......she was approaching head-on.

Guess I missed that. Didn't help that my connection sucks and the pics didn't load.
