Sounds like kids in a candy store. But just a reminder to get your baseline dyno first before installation so that you have some sort of evidence/satisfaction that it was installed correctly (i.e., the 40 whp gains). Don't be too in a hurry to get it installed.
That butt dyno of yours can play tricks on you, especially after an install. It might be a little too generous, only to be disappointed down the road when you do actually get it on a real dyno.
If I remember correctly, as we all know, the ECU "learns" and "compensates," therefore the first set of runs is low, but the ladder ones is where the peak will come after the ECU "stabilizes." JE had the formula down to the last run. I witnessed the last one, the one that counted, and it showed peak whps just like the other saved IS-Fs peak gains before me. Therefore who ever is installing it, make sure they have a dyno too.
Don’t be in a hurry, do it right.
Unless I can find a free dyno, I'm gonna be in a hurry
Let me get this correct. Should I remove my K&N typhoon and go back to stock? I just intalled my headers a few days ago and am very happy with my headers. However I keep reading that the stock intake is the way to go.....

Bring both to the dyno when your ready. For now, I would leave the K&N on as I dont see it hindering performance.
I know I am preaching to the choi, but please get as many before and after dynos as you can, especially the before. You might feel it's not important now, but after spending thousands of dollars and then finding that your IS-F is not behaving as expected post-install, you will regret not having a baseline dyno first. This is especially true for all the new IS-F owners who have bought used IS-Fs. None of us can help you diagnose your, "Power gains not as expected after install" thread without knowing that your IS-F started out with some good baseline numbers. You're also not only helping yourself, but the community with your pre and post install dynos.
If you bought your IS-F new, then the before dyno is not as important. I saw about a dozen baseline dynos prior to header install at JE, and they were remarkable consistent. Lexus is truly "The Pursuit Of Perfection."

I did the intake wrap and sealed/protected the filter area. That radiant tape sure makes a difference in keeping certain componets cooler than the rest of the engine bay. Thanks for the idea.

This is the plan. Im also looking into getting a VBox to further see the differences.

I'm sure je didn't ask if they have the deal cause they je doesn't sell ppe. So it's not in there interest. Ask the guy who is selling ppe if they contacted jm Lexus for a deal.
Yeah u missed the most important , take the oem header out and unclip the o2 sensor. Then spray the WD40 , use the table clamp to hold it tight while u let it cool and then unbolt it. Do not try to unbolt the o2 sensor while the header is still attach to the engine, i think that the biggest reason y ppls has problem with them . Also use a pre thread bolt and clean out the new header where the o2 sensor would go.
