Default Moisture behind screen, clean???

Has anyone ever taken the info/control screen apart. I have a very small amount of moisture that only shows under certain light conditions. Would like to get rid of it, but not bad enough to take to my $80hr dealer. Suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Are you sure it's moisture and not the film on the screen bubbling?

Well, not really.......if the film is on the inside. The outside is slick smooth. Is there an easy way to tell?

Thanks Coleroad, but I was referring to the small screen below the Nav. The one that gives temp, mpg, etc.

You think maybe some silicone from armor all or similar product got on it . One time when I had mine detailed they used some it was spotty on that and the radio screen. Mean green got it taken care of on the radio. I was worse on the heater screen. I never could get it to look right from cleaning. Like you said its when the sun hits it right you can see it. I finally used plastx for headlights on it . It Did remove the coating on it too though. It looks fine to me I didn't regret the anti glare coating coming off.

Switch that around, the radio screen is the one I used the plastx on, not the heater screen.

My A/C control screen on both the one that came on the car and the replacement had a lot of discoloration in the anti-glare coating. I removed it and cut a new plastic window from some anti-glare plexi (meant for picture frames) I picked up from Menards.

If you are careful, it is not a big deal to take the AC controls apart and the easiest part to get to is that front panel to clean your screen.
