Oh and I did find this on their website:

>> The film comes with a five year manufacturer warranty against cracking, bubbling or yellowing.
I contacted Chris about what is the expected lifetime of the film and this was his reply:

>> The films are designed to last the life of the car. Depending on the maintenance habits of the film it may need to be replaced.
However, if the film is still clear and there is no evidence of spidering or cracking in the film, it should still be in good shape.

....so would the "maintenance habit of the film", be any different than the regular washing/waxing that we would normally do to our vehicles ???

I don't believe so. Ask Chris, he's the expert. You can tell him I sent you his name and his reply and go from there. He's a pretty friendly sort.

I had clear bra on my M5 and rocks would still chip the paint sometimes right through the plastic, however it will deflect at least 90% of what's out there.

I just washed it, really no point in waxing, wax on paint/clear coat really shines but wax on plastic really didn't do much?

I agree 100%, that raccoon look does a disservice to the SC!

I'm glad the dr. chip thing worked cuz that design looks super tacky and would've looked worst with plasti dip...

that pearl white is one of my most favorite color, super luxury and classy.. the plasti dip would ruin that.

so good way to go!
