good luck,
...lol...funny you should ask . I had everything replaced during the holidays & while I was out of town. I picked the car up last Tuesday, drove it home with no issues. The wife & I planned to drive it out of town for our anniversary last weekend, so I got in it to clean it on Thursady.....no cold air !!! I just took it back to the shop today, to have it looked at,hoping maybe there was a leak from a loose connection. They put it on the machine, turned on car & a/c......."drum roll please"...nothing at all. The new compressor isn't working. It has a full charge, clutch is engaging, but it's not doing a thing. High & low side shows nothing on the gauges. I literally just finished emailing the company about the compressor when I saw my thread again...lol....it has a warranty & the company's site says that they will overnight any replacement parts needed,so I'll talk to them personally in the morning & go from there

The final fix for texsexlex...

I received the kit, had my mechanic do the install & when he fired it up, still no cold air. He called the company & they went through the the installation process, step by step, determined that everything was done right. After a few test, it was determined that the new compressor wasn't any good....lol.....but they sent the replacement overnight & I was back in business. This company required me to change everything, to keep a valid warranty & if I had bought just the compressor (like I almost did), I wouldn't have been able to get the bad compressor replaced. I can't find my receipt for the labor, but I think I paid about $450-500
