Wow, really? Are you saying the trans pressure can be modified? Can you maybe take a photo of this button and it's location?

How to modify trans pressure in your SC430 5-speed.

Now, I want to know if this is possible on the 6-speed tranny in my '06?

Oh, so you're saying you can only change the pressure during a transmission fluid flush/change? No way to change it without service?

Was at my local Lexus dealer and spoke with the head tech and he's never heard of this transmission pressure modification. He's willing to take it on, though. He's excited as he has a LS (430 or 460?) with the same a-650-e transmission, and he wants to try it on his car or so he says. I supplied whatever information I've gathered from this thread and the linked threads, also. I'm thinking of going to my private shop as they've done really good by me so far and I'm planning on having the sway bars added so the car will be on the rack anyway. Two birds, one stone.. hopefully the techs will cut me a deal.

Oh and additionally while at Lexus, there was a coupon for a showroom detail (clay bar, shampoo, leather treatment, etc) for $159. I need a detail but this might be a little out of my budget depending on the results of these estimates. :-( But some good news... if you sign up for your local Lexus dealership via their website, as I did, you get a 15% off card up to $500. Here's the link to mine.

Will this help the lag issue? I don't always get the lag but I find my self driving my 03 in 4th gear when driving in the city.

Bacardi11,
Do you just stick a flat head screwdriver in there and turn right, per the diagram? Didn't somebody post an actual pic of the dial a while back? I cannot find it?
