Dealer scratched fender
So I picked up my car from the dealer Sat and noticed a scratch along the fender above the bumper where it looks like the tech tried to bend and force out the bumper to get to the headlights.
I took pictures and emailed them to my service adviser and he said to bring the car back and they will fix it.
Now my question to you guys is do I have a choice and can I decline the dealer's in-house auto body repair and take it to my own personal preferred auto body shop? Reason being I coincidentally had made small talk with the service adviser on a previous visit and he had mentioned that their in-house auto body shop was NO good in color matching. My SC is pearl white and I would hate to have them unable to match the fender repair, a mismatch paint job on pearl white sticks out like a sore thumb! I also hope they don't try to get away with just brushing on some paint chip repair.

i feel like they will try to do it IN HOUSE because it's pretty much free to them, as opposed to paying another shop to do it. let them do that. if it turns out bad, you already have photos of the 'before it was color matched' to compare to and complain to the higher ups about it.
