Hi everyone,

I just spend 90 minutes on the Sewell site and just cannot find the metals clips that hold this plate down. There are four of them.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Can you be more specific? Not sure what you are referring to. I believe the only thing held down by four of anything in the trunk is the tool tray. Is that the plate you are naming?

A picture would be nice. Besides what VVTIbob said the only other holddowns that I can think of are the four chrome tiedown looking things. That don't really hold down anything that I know of.

I think he is refering to the garnish trim plate that covers the trunk lock threshold. That does have clips for sure I know because I have had mine off so many times that I need to replace the clips . I will be watching this thread if any one knows where these clips are available .

if you guys are so good on these partnumbers:

i have an LS400 generation 1 1991 and i need clips that have broken off:

they are placed in the rubberstrips below your headlights.
They are different from the clips in the weatherstrip retaining the strip below the hood upon the cowlvent.

i have the manuals but no partnumberds there i bought a partnumber pdf but not 1 clip is mentioned in this PDF.

is there a sticky with partnumbers from clips retianers and al these small things on a lexus ?

I would suggest you buy it at the parts department of your local Toyota/Lexus dealer as the shipping fee would cost more than the clip itself if you only need one or two.
