Re-painting my SC next week
Sick of "mercury metallic". Sorry, but I hate silver cars.
After much soul-searching and color-checking, I'm gonna go with Costa Azule Mica...

Bold Move!
I think it's very cool to plunge ahead on a new paint job. Can you favor us with some before/after photos and cost information?
A lot of folks don't post how much projects cost, and that makes it hard for me to make a cost/benefit analysis to see if something like that would make sense for me to undertake or even plan for. I don't know if this request is breaking a rule (formal or informal) of thus fine forum...I hope not!
Best of luck!

Interior is the ecru (cream) leather and carpeting. Just looks anemic with the silver.
Will definitey get pre/post pics. Needs body work (rammed it in to the side of the garage trying NOT to hit the LFA), so figured WTF, right?
Estimate for body work and full paint is around $10 K (only about $2 K is for repair).
Was actually trying to get the color codes for LFA slate blue, but Lexus is keeping those secret for a couple years. Oh well, costa azule mica is still an incredibly rare color...
