Maintenance on the convertible mechanism?

The only thing I have done for the 11 years that I have owned mine is to put white Lith grease on all the joints in the lifting arms, and from time to time on the clips on the top of the windshield. (Park the top, with the engine running, with the rear window perpendicular to the ground, and you can get to these parts pretty easily, and you can clean the inside of the rear window while you are at it.) The other PM item for this car is to (with the top positioned as above) apply 303 to all the gaskets.

With the rash of failures lately, I was just talking about this with a friend. Seems like a well lubricated mechanism would place less strain on the motors. Does anyone with a shop book know what Lexus tells its service techs to do to maintain the convertible mechanism?
