Default How to Install Daizen Sway Bar Bushings

I know a few people have replaced the OEM sway bar bushings with the Daizens. I was wondering if anyone has install pics or advice on how to install? And how difficult it is? My guess is I'd have to take off each end of the sway bar and slide the Daizens on. Thanks!

You can buy the bushings here:

http://www.tmengineering.net/suspens...n/make/gs.html

It's very easy to replace the bushings...

To replace the bushings, you must lift both sides (left and right) of the car to release tension on the swaybar. You can do the front, than the rear...

** Use axel stands! Never crawl under a vehicule supported only on hydraulic jacks!!!!! **

Remove 4 bolts on the supports... 2 on each side remove the old bushings... Grease the inside of the new bushings with the supplied grease. Use 2 screwdrivers or similar to open the urethane busing (pretty hard busings!!!) and slip the in position... re-install supports and bolts.

Done!

You can't slide them on. The bushings are splitted. You must open them up and slip them in position. No need to undo the swaybar ends... Just the supports.

I didn't change the steering rack bushings... Let us know how hard it is to change them and if you notice any improvement.
