I'll second that. When we were deciding to get a SC430, one of the requirements my wife set down was that our kids fit in the back seat as I take them to school every morning. Poor little guys, they are 5 & 8 and don't realize how good they got it Anyway, my 8 year old barely fits in the back seat. I put the seat passenger seat all the way forward (#2 setting is his, how convienent) but my 5 year old is still "car seat" sized so over the next couple of weeks I need to figure out what to get him. I am looking for to the arguments as to whether the top should be up or down on the way to school.

Car Seat Reply
Interestingly, the SC430 back seat comes equiped with the LATCH system for putting in a Child Seat. This is the new system for autos that involves two attachable brackets at the base of the seat and one up top, behind the rear head rest. The only workable seat I have been able to attach is a new one by Century that is fairly low profile. Even so, this is not what I would have expected seing as how the car seems to be so well designed to handle the seat. If anyone has tried a seat that they have been happy with, please email the list. It would be nice to be able to enjoy the car with our daughter in tow.
