fronts:
Wheel Offset
20x8.5 20 <- this is what you state you want
20x8.5 +18 <- this is the limit to what the guide states
backs:
Wheel Offset
20x10 25 <- this is what you state you want
20x10 +24 <- this is the limit to what the guide states
NOTES:
The smaller the offset, the more the tire sticks out towards the wheel well.
The offset (+24) is in millimeters.
The width (8.5) is in inches.
0.5 inches = 6mm.
Notice in the guide that going from a width of 10 to 10.5 (an increase in 0.5 inches), the allowed offset increases from 6mm (from 24 to 30) as such:
20x10 +24
20x10.5 +30
This is because if you use a wheel that almost rubs against the wheel well (say 20X10 +24) and then replace it with one that has the same offset but is 1/2 inches wider (20X10.5 +24) , it will rub by 1/2 inches. So you need to make it not stick out 1/2 inch - so you'll need to increase the offset by 1/2 an inch (1/2 an inch is 0.5 inches which is 6mm so the offset is 24+6=30 so you need a 20X10.5 +30 in order not to rub).
Hope this not only answers your question but also makes it easier to understand the numbers
