VIDEO: 2004 SC430 vs MB SL500 & XLR
total oldie but goodie video from the peeps out @ MotorTrend.
check it out for yourself.
MT had nothing but good praise to say bout our SCs. even in its early yrs the SC was recognized for reliability.
thinking of purchasing a Cadillac XLR.
any1 in CL have words of advice/wisdom on the XLR?

BEst way to find out anything about a car is to go to the corresponding forums, you will see first hand all the problems (if any) that the car showed until now.

well, my opinion of the XLR is pretty good and based on the physcial dynamics of the body style, it's not that bad.
there's alot of videos of modded XLR's on the net.
as far as interiror design, it's probably not as comfortable as the SC430, but it does have some wood trim and the latest DVD navigation.
I've seen some XLR's in person but never test drove one.
the SL500 is nice but my friend's convertible top was brought back into the dealership (under warranty) for a fix 2 years ago. Overall, it's a nice comfortable and luxurious car to have.
