I've searched but found nothing, here is a question someone asked.

I have a 2005 SC430 Pebble Beach model with navigation and Mark Levinson sound system and would like to use the phone while driving. I know the shortcut to do the navigation while moving but have heard that goes away when you upgrade your navigation discs to the 7.0 versions. What do you recommend to get better navigation disc information and be phone enabled on the move?

Is it possible to do the phone/dvd unlock like we do in the GS by splicing the wires?

I have the exact same car, The only way I can use the phone while moving is to use any one of my 3 pre set one touch dial screens. If you find out any way of getting it to work while moving and dialing other then the one touch let me know. I know the trick to overide the navigation so it will work when moving and when you shut car off you will have to go through the steps to overide it again if you want to use it again

some people do their own hybrid disc, where there are the 7.1 maps but with the older firmware, so you still have the override screen. i think that's the best method.

How do I get a hybrid disk. I would like better mapping but i like the override feature. If you can PM me with info I would really appreciate it. Your info on the daizen install was very helpfull.

i don't have much exposure on hybrid disc, never had to do it. but search for it on the new GS and IS forum, there are couple of threads on it
