I am probably going to go the coilover route and get my car corner balanced. I like driving with the top down a lot but I also drive plenty with it up. The difference on weight shifting in the car between up and down is probably pretty significant. It's probably like shifting 100 pounds from the center to the trunk. What do you guys think? Corner balance with the top up, the top down, or the top half way down so it's a little off in either position but not as much off in one position.

For street use, I would just skip it. For track use then with the top up.

I would do it top up. I did with my last convertible before the SC. If your going to be attending track events, most likely you're gonna have your top up for the best performance. Plus don't forget the better weight distribution.

Many tracks will not allow the SC on the track with top down due to the lack of roll over protection so yep, top up.

I kind of agree here. The SC430 is a full GT car. A heavy cruiser with a lot of cushy features. The only car I can really see on track would be a stripped down IS or an older SC which had the same origins as the MKIV Supra. Although the SC was first.

Hadn't thought about that. I just had mine done with the top up. You're more likely to really push the car with the top up I would imagine.

I never tried it in mine but I would have to go with top up because the feel is a lot more different then the top down.
