Big Brake Kits and other performance mods
Hey guys, I'm new here and I just bought a used 2005 SC430. Sold my G35 Coupe to a buddy and bought the SC430 for an amazing price of $40,000 before taxes and I sold my Coupe for $33,000 before taxes. What I'm here to ask is are there any BBK out there for our cars? I had over-sized 15" rotors on my old car and the SC doesn't quite bite as hard as the G. I've searched around but can't seem to find any. I'm thinking about picking up the Injen CAI also, are there any other performance mods? 300HP seems a little short for a V8. I'm also going to miss the exhaust note of the G.
Here is a short list of what I'm basically trying to look for.
BBK Front & Rear
Performance Mods
Rear lights (their so ugly stock)

I was thinking about getting the Rotora since they're only around $4000US. The brembo's are around $9000 (saw it in another thread). Do you have a link to your thread?

Hey Pearl can you comment on how big a differance the supra brakes made over stock and how much of an improvement the Rotora made over the supra? Just trying to get a feel for the bang for buck (seeing as a full front supra setups runs just a tad over $500).

not on sc430, but i have driven gs400 with supra brakes. it feels better than the stock but i don't think it's that much of a wow factor. comparing to my ap racing and stoptech setup the supra is just ok.
i haven't ridden in lee's car with the front/rear rotora, but i have heard about his comments and also from his wife. knowing lee, i can imagine the setup literally choke people

That is kind of what I figured, I plan on spending about 5k this winter (the sc430 is only my weekend vehicle) and I think for me the money would be better spent on supra/header/exhaust/coilovers then a bbk. I don't think the stocks are horrible (at least compared to my other vehicles).
- Well unless your going to let yours go at a good price (with swap if needed)...
